Kvinners rett til å registrere eiendom er kanskje en liten, men viktig, seier i Afrikas siste absolutte kongedømme, som fram til 2005 definerte kvinner som underordnet. Men det løser ikke en voksende økonomisk og politisk krise, som lever sitt eget liv i skyggen av krisen i nabolandet Zimbabwe.
